Three words describe our gallery: 

fresh, local, art.

We represent the best qualities of how art is showcased for sale. We are local. We are available. We are present.  Our gallery is a place where you can interact directly with the art and artists as there is always an artist available to talk to. We co-own, co-run and co-create together. Because we are self-run we can be spontaneous with what we display and how we display it. And because we are self-run, we all enjoy what we do and how we do it. Here at the gallery, we are dedicated to sharing fresh vision and being a fundamental creative nexus for Salt Spring Island.

We are not just artists but artists who care about each other, our community and the work we do. We are proud of our successes and we motivate and support one another. When you come through our door, it is this positive energy you will experience. 

We are artists who are approachable, and we choose to be in the eye of the public. Interacting with the public not only supports our gallery and community, but in turn, we are fed by the enthusiasm and delight of those who visit our gallery. We have shows and celebrations that invite the public to experience what we do, to not only promote ourselves and sell our fine work, but also because we enjoy sharing our achievements and vision.

Want to rent our beautiful Showcase Space?

We help organize and generally offer support for guest artist shows and exhibitions that promote cross-pollination, vitality and fresh inspiration to our co-operative and to the larger Salt Spring Community. Having a show is a fabulous motivator to dive deeply into your art, put your best foot forward and catalyze local exposure. 

Basically we design a poster for you, advertise your show via social media, our newsletter and our website, we staff a reception, offer curatorial support and general show planning support if needed. We process sales for the duration of the show. Your investment is $125 per week with a two week minimum, 30% commission to us for sales.
