Stefanie Denz:

This is a group show of drawings made over the years by an ad hoc but persistent art making posse who have been getting together regularly to sketch, paint and have fun since 2016. It started off at Beverly Morimoto Brown's house, in a space she and her husband Len call 'the drawing room'. Though numerous folks have dropped in to participate with art materials, music, discussions, etc. over the years, a core group remained, meeting every one and a half to two months, rotating to different homes and sometimes with extra guests. We have found the atmosphere of being together brings about a sense of hilarity, acceptance of personalities and a who-knows-what-will-come-up as we discuss life events, frustrations, silliness and ongoing debates. We hope what you see on the walls here will reflect something of the quality of our time together.
